New Exhibition

Minnesota Biennial: 2D II

October 22-December 31, 2005

Minnesota Biennial: 2D II, the third in a series of juried exhibitions organized by the Minnesota Museum of American Art, features artwork by 26 Minnesota artists.  The exhibition highlights a wide range of contemporary two-dimensional work being produced in our state, and reflects progressive trends in art within a national perspective.

Artists selected for the 2005 Minnesota Biennial: 2D II by jurors Elizabeth Dunbar, Curator at Kemper Museum of Contemporary Art in Kansas City, and Theresa Downing, Associate Curator at MMAA.

Join the artists in the Minnesota Biennial for a fun and rapid slide presentation of their work. Each artist gets 8 quick minutes until the cowbell rings them off the stage! Check our web site for the schedule of artists. A reception in the gallery will follow each slide-o-rama event.
