The MMAA opened its doors for a special day of portrait making with artists from Only Human! Visitors made collage portraits, added to a graffiti wall, and expressed their opinions in the gallery.

           Artist, Katinka Galanos, worked with visitors to create double portraits.

                       Galanos traced their silhouettes to create the first portrait.


        Visitors then added color to the portrait using a monotype printing process.

                                     A display of some of the finished pieces.




                    Visitors created collage self-portraits with artist David Hamlow.

Artist, Ernest Arthur Bryant III, helped young visitors create self-portraits on the Free Portrait Wall.
